Does this open source project still have an owner after the sale to CVSDude? Is there a community still interested in using SharpForge and continuing its development?

Hi,

Here's an Issue.

French caracter in Work Item create a linked to Work Item ID related to the caracter's ASCII number.

What it does:

Example.
Title of a Work Item: "D&ceaute;centralisation dans la ..." (the second caracter is the 233 in the ASCII chart)

Appears:

Décentralisation de la planche

and # 233 is interpreted as a Work Item number by SF.

For new installations please use the msi and follow the installation guide.

Important notice for upgrades: You will have to run the sql script manually. To do this open the 0.5.13b web application directory and navigate to installer\sql there you will find the sql statements. Run them in order depending on what version your server is running until you reach 0.5.13b.

#111 Display users in role when editing permissions
When you are modify portal or project permissions you can now see the users in that role.

#110 Display svn acl when editing proejct roles and permissions
when managing the project roles and permissions the Subversion acl is now displayed at the bottom of the screen. This helps improve the understanding of what impact the changes to the roles and permissions has on the access to the project. For example the project users group(default_User) is translated into a ? and Anonymous is represented as a *.

#109 Apache configuration for multiple portals incorrect
A new property has been added SvnIPAddress which is used when writing the Apache configuration file for a portal. The configuration now correctly writes a virtual host for each portal which allows multiple portals to run simultaneously.

#90 All authenticated should use ? in acl
When users sign up to SharpForge they are added to the {PortalName}_User role. They are also added to the svn user/password file. Subversion uses the ? to represent anyone who has a valid password. This role would generally have hundreds or thousands of users so writing it to the configuration file isn't feasible.

#7 Restart Apache after project created or configuration changes
A console application has been created which monitors a specified directory and then restarts apache if any files have changed since it last restarted. Its designed to be run as a scheduled task so you can specify how often you want it to check.

#108 Require SSL
If the application requires SSL the application can now be configured to enforce it.

ok, since you know what you want better than me do you feel up to writing a brief spec for it?

Have a look at how we've being doing it for the main specificaiton http://svn.projxpert.com/SharpForge/trunk/Doc/development/Index.html.

We need the 2 use cases with a brief description, pre/post conditions, basic flow and any important alternate flows. Then I can look at what the best way to do the integration from the sharpforge end.

Actually it would be nice to have an option to create the TFS Iteration. It´s rather easy to do it.

But that would be the requirements, yes.

So does this sounds like the general use cases for this integration:

o) Create Release
creates an iteration with a given TFS Path
eg. TeamProjectName/0.1.0 Beta/

o) View Release
loads all work items matching that path & display titles & description

Create Release doesn't really need to create the iteration within TFS does it(is that what you meant)? It could just have the path it's associated with and then do a query on the fly and cache the results when the release is viewed.(I'm thinking KISS).

Any help is most appreciated.
